Canada's online casino market keeps growing. Ontario's regulated market alone saw almost C$100 billion in wagers in 2025, according to Canadian Gaming Business. With that much competition, casinos put a lot of effort into keeping existing players, and that is where VIP programs and reloads come in.
Three kinds of loyalty scheme
1. Points-based ladders
Every bet earns points, and points move you up a fixed ladder of levels. Rewards are predictable and published in advance. TonyBet (30 levels) and HolySpin (11 levels) both use this model.
2. Network programs
The Casino Rewards group, which includes Zodiac, Yukon Gold, Golden Tiger and Luxury Casino, shares one loyalty status across all its sites. Points never expire and convert to casino credit, and higher tiers add hosts, prize draws and gifts.
3. Invitation-only VIP clubs
Casino Days, LuckyDays and PowerPlay run private VIP clubs. Perks such as account managers, custom bonuses and faster withdrawals can be excellent, but because the terms are not published, you cannot compare them before you play.
HolySpin: tiered wagering and daily reloads
HolySpin's approach is built around making bonuses easier to clear as you move up. Its 11-level loyalty program lowers the wagering on rewards step by step:
| Levels | Wagering on rewards | Free-spin cashout cap |
|---|---|---|
| 0–2 | 45x → 40x | C$50 |
| 3–6 | 35x | C$50 |
| 7 | 30x | — |
| 8–10 | 10x | C$100 |
A 10x requirement at the top levels is unusually low; many casinos keep VIP rewards at 30x or more. Once you have made four deposits, weekly reloads run every day of the week, with match offers of 10–30% depending on the day and deposit size, 35x wagering and three days to complete it. Loyalty rewards also include up to 1,000 free spins, and installing HolySpin's web app on your phone adds 10 free spins.
Full account verification and a minimum deposit are needed to take part.
How other casinos compare
| Casino | Program | Published tiers | Standout perk |
|---|---|---|---|
| HolySpin | Points ladder | 11 | Wagering drops to 10x at the top |
| Casino Days | Invite-only VIP Club | — | Account manager, weekly cashback |
| TonyBet | Points ladder | 30 | 3x wagering on rewards |
| Moonwin | Cashback club | Reported 10–25 | Cashback up to 12.5% |
| Casino Rewards sites | Network status | 6 | Points never expire |
| LuckyDays / PowerPlay | Invite-only | — | Private VIP support |
Judging real value
- Look at wagering on rewards, not the reward size. C$100 at 10x is worth more than C$200 at 45x for most players.
- Check whether rewards expire. Points that vanish after 30 days are only useful if you play constantly.
- Ask about withdrawal limits. The best VIP perk for bigger players is often a higher weekly cap or priority payouts.
- Compare reload frequency. A daily 20% reload can beat a monthly 100% one if you deposit regularly.
A word of caution
Loyalty schemes are designed to encourage more play. Set a monthly deposit budget before you start, and do not chase a tier upgrade.
